The main tasks undertaken in a job can be grouped at a detailed occupation level to enable analysis of jobs undertaken that broader occupational groupings often hide. For example, the broad group ‘Professionals’ is made up of a range of detailed occupations including surgeons, school teachers and recruitment consultants.
