Subscriber Terms of Use

Kia ora, these are our terms of use for client organisations and approved users. These cover the use of any Infometrics website, including a limited licence for how our content may be reused. If you do not have a subscriber account, then your use is governed by the General Terms of Use.

Let's start at the very beginning
  • Organisations who subscribe to Infometrics products and services agree to these Terms of Use as part of the subscription agreement, which form part of the legal contract with Infometrics Limited.
  • These Terms of Use apply to organisations with complementary or trial access.
  • Individual subscription agreements may include clauses that extend or supersede the rights and responsibilities listed below. Please contact Infometrics or your subscription manager if you need to clarify this situation.
  • As part of the subscription agreement, access is given to specific individuals through personal user accounts. These Terms of Use govern the access of the individual users on behalf of the subscribing organisation. Where not specified, "you" refers both to the organisation and the user account holder.
Responsibilities for subscribing organisations
  • Organisations subscribing to Infometrics products must ensure that only employees are offered user accounts with Infometrics.
  • Access may be given to non-employees, including contractors, but only with explicit prior agreement from Infometrics. Such access may be refused, or require an additional agreement, at our discretion.
  • Organisations must ensure that all users are aware of these Terms of Use.
Responsibilities for individual users
  • You must keep the password for your account secure and confidential.
  • You must not allow anyone else to use your account, and must alert us if you think this may have happened.
  • You may only access your Infometrics account for the purposes of your work for the subscribing organisation. You may not use any non-public data retrieved from Infometrics for another organisation, or for personal purposes, without explicit prior approval from Infometrics.
  • When your employment (or other) relationship with the subscribing organisation ends you must not access you Infometrics account, and must notify us to close it.
Infometrics might not always be perfect
  • Infometrics data and commentary are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and you use it at your sole risk.
  • Infometrics provides data and commentary in good faith, but despite our best efforts the accuracy, relevancy and correctness of these are subject to variation, not least due to variations in data from third party sources. Forecast data may vary from actual results.
  • We provide no warranty nor bear any liability with respect to the availability, correctness, accuracy, completeness or otherwise of the website and the data therein. We will not be liable for any damage or loss that may occur from using our website or acting upon the information it contains.
We use data from third parties

This is a legal agreement
  • These Terms of Use are governed by New Zealand law.
  • If any part of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Use will otherwise remain in full effect.
  • If we do not exercise or enforce any right available to us under these Terms of Use, it does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
